Training head teachers of Dalton schools

This year we started to organize training seminars for the
management of Dalton schools.
During 6 days, spread over one school year, the participants work on
their personal and professional development.
Some of the topics are: the parallell process in Dalton,
situational leadership, competence management, systemic working,
view on the own performance (Senge - Fullan - Kolb - Helen Parkhurst).
We initiate peer groups and all participants must make an own portfolio.
The management of quality is one of the targets. In this context it is
interesting that the management team of the Begonazpi Ikastola in Bilbao
decided to start the implementation of Dalton as their next step in the
process of managing the quality.
I am proud to be involved in these local and international processes.

Management training

This month I could work again with management teams from different
Dalton schools. We organize such '2 days training' already 5 years.
The directors and the Dalton coordinators of the schools participate
in these practicle seminars and workshops.
One of the highlights is the Dalton Laboratory
in which all schools present the newest develpments and products to
be proud of.

Our latest book translated in Polish language

Last month Hans Wenke and I were invited to promote Dalton
education during 5 conferences in different cities.
Our latest book is translated into Polish language and it
seems to be a great success, because the first edition is
sold out already.

Brno conference

Last week the 15th International Dalton Conference took place.
Participants from Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also from
Austria, Germany, Holland, Poland and Spain.
The delegation from Senegal couldn't get a connected flight in
Amsterdam and stayed with friends in Holland. Their conference
presentation is in the website of Dalton International.
